Situated on the edge of the rural village of Kirtling, only seven miles from Horse racing’s HQ, Newmarket. Vicarage Farm provides a tranquil setting for Thoroughbred breaking, pre-training, spelling, sales preparation and broodmare boarding. With first class facilities and excellent grazing, all horses are given individual care and attention by our knowledgeable and passionate team. Resident on site with 24-hour CCTV surveillance and secured premises.

Adam Kirby

Brought up on Vicarage Farm, Kirtling. Adam realised his passion for horses and started riding out for James Fanshawe aged just 12. Aged 16, Adams first race ride was a winner and he has since ridden over 1500 winners and been the All-Weather Champion Jockey three times. In 2013 Adam teamed up with Lethal Force, a horse which took his career to a higher level giving him his first Group 1 win in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot before going on to win the July Cup. He has since won the July Cup for a second time on board Harry Angel amongst further Group 1’s and International races at the highest level.

Adam is well renowned to be a fine horseman, understanding the nature of each individual, no matter how complex or difficult.

Megan Evans

Born into a racing family, daughter of successful trainer David Evans. Megan has excelled in all areas of the Thoroughbred Industry, gaining valuable experience both in Racehorse Training and Bloodstock. Having spent time with industry leaders Cheveley Park Stud, as well as assisting with the running of Mickley Stud in Shropshire, Megan gained the confidence to travel and gain further experience working for many prominent sales consigners in Europe and America.

Megan manages the daily running of Vicarage Farm and prides herself on the wellbeing of the horses in her care.
